  • Have our technicians requested additional information/action? Yes. No.
  • Is there an existing pin at the location of this job? Yes. No.
  • This pin will go on hold. Create a new pin and add the job information; Add the reason for the hold in between 2 * (EX: *needs bumper off*); turn the pin yellow; Reply to the shop to request the information requested by out technician; ; NOTE: Wiring & 48 hr pins MUST have date.
  • Is the existing pin on hold? Yes. No.
  • Edit the pin to reflect the current and previous holds; NOTE: Wiring & 48 hr pins MUST have date.
  • Edit the pin title to reflect total jobs; add the new hold job under an underscore line; leave pin in existing spot in the list to the left of the map; NOTE: Wiring & 48 hr pins MUST have date.
  • Search for the shop on the Google Map - Is there an existing pin? No. Yes.
  • Create a pin at the appropriate location; give pin appropriate icon (See MAS Requirements sheet if unsure which icon to give the pin); make sure pin is at the bottom of the list for the corresponding state on the left side of the map; NOTE: Wiring & 48 hr pins MUST have date.
  • Is it an active pin or a hold pin/job? Hold pin/job. Active job.
  • Does the new job type match the active job type. Yes. No.
  • Change the title of the pin to reflect the number of jobs on that pin; add the appropriate jobs to the body of the pin; leave the job at it's existing place in the list on the left side of map; NOTE: Wiring & 48 hr pins MUST have date.
  • How many existing pins are at the location? 1. 2.
  • Create a new pin for the new job; give it the appropriate icon (see the MAS Requirements sheet if unsure which icon to make the job; PINS SHOULD NEVER OVERLAP, IF THERE IS ALREADY ONE SMALL PIN, LEAVE THE NEW PIN THE TRADITIONAL SHAPE); make sure that job is at the bottom of the list on the left side of the map; NOTE: Wiring & 48 hr pins MUST have date.
  • Does the pin type of the new pin match the pin type of one of the the existing pins? Yes. No.
  • Add the new job to the pin with the matching pin type; leave pin in existing spot in the list on the left side of the map; NOTE: Wiring & 48 hr pins MUST have date.
  • Consolidate pins with the regular jobs and A/C jobs on one pin and the wiring jobs on their own pin; Regular/AC pin will have standard pin icon, wiring job will have wiring icon; leave pins in existing spots on the map; NOTE: Wiring & 48 hr pins MUST have date.
  • Is the current job already on hold on the pin? Yes. No.
  • Edit pin to reflect the active job and the hold job; turn the pin blue; drag to the bottom of the list for the corresponding state on the left side of the map; NOTE: Wiring & 48 hr pins MUST have date.
  • Are there multiple holds on the pin? Yes. No.
  • Move the now active job to the top of the list; delete the note and add the time stamp; edit the title of the pin to reflect the job totals; turn the pin blue; drag the job to the bottom of the list for the corresponding state on the left side of the map; announce that the job is ready in the corresponding room in Slack; NOTE: Wiring & 48 hr pins MUST have date.
  • Replace the hold reason with the time stamp; turn pin blue; drag job to the bottom of the list for the corresponding state on the left side of the map; announce that the job is ready in the corresponding room in Slack; NOTE: Wiring & 48 hr pins MUST have date.
  • Send the corresponding email into the appropriate Slack room and ask technicians for the information. Do the technicians request additional information? Yes. No.
  • Reply to the shop with the information they requested, telling them to reply to that email when they are ready to schedule the service. .
  • reply to the shop requesting the information needed - do not put the job on the map. Next.
  • Once the shop sends the information, send that email in the appropriate room again asking for the requested information. Do the technicians need any more additional information? Yes. No.
  • Repeat the previous steps until the technicians have the information they need.
  • The tech will now give you the information to answer the shop's inquiry. Reply to the shop with the appropriate information and tell them to reply to that email when they are ready to schedule - when they are ready to schedule, start this chart over again;.
