  • Are there any lights on the boiler. No. Yes.
  • Is there gas to the property? Check other gas appliances & meter. Meter is working. No gas.
  • What does the display show on the meter? Screen is blank. 'Call Help'. In credit. Minus credit.
  • Call supplier - supplier's number should be on meter.
  • Raise a job with an unsuccessful soft fix outcome.
  • Top up meter.
  • Reset meter - if this doesn't solve the problem, contact supplier.
  • Is the temperature turned up on the boiler - turn to highest setting. Yes. No.
  • Turn heating temperature up - if this is still not working then go back to start.
  • Are the room thermostats turned up high? Yes. No.
  • Turn temperature on thermstats up and see if heating comes on - if this does not work go back to start.
  • Are the radiators turned on? No. Yes.
  • Turn the TRVs up on the radiators - if they do not start to get warm then go back to start.
  • Is the pressure on the boiler above 0? No. Yes.
  • Raise a job with an unsuccessful soft fix outcome.
  • Talk the tenant through topping up their pressure. Is the boiler now working? Yes. No.
  • Cancel the job with a successful soft fix outcome.
  • Raise a job with an unsuccessful soft fix outcome.
  • Is the boiler turned on? No. Yes.
  • Turn the boiler on - if it still not working go back to start.
  • Is the fused spur turned on? No. Yes, and light is on. Yes, and light is off.
  • Raise a job and advise that there is an electrical issue with the boiler.
  • Turn switch on - power has now been restored to the boiler.
  • Is the fuse on the fuse board switched on? No. Yes.
  • Raise a job and advise that there is an electrical issue with the boiler.
  • Reset fuse - does it trip again? No. Yes.
  • Raise a job and advise that there is an electrical issue with the boiler.
  • Check boiler - power has now been restored.
